Recently, I have completed my backpacking trip to Thailand & Cambodia and it is great to travel and most important I am still alive.haha. The whole experience is still fresh in my mind...


Here are the story of my journeys - Part 1

Day 1 - 23 April 2009

Woke up as early as 5.30am to catch an early plane to Penang. My second flight with Fireflyz. Luckily I'm staying near Subang. Hehe. My travel buddy's dad fetch us to airport ( Terminal 3 ). The last time I came, it was a really old building, but now after some renovations, the place looks good! My flight scheduled at 7.00am and eventough early in the morning I saw quite a lot of passengers as well. Not bad business for Fireflyz. The journey to Penang is quite fast. Just around 45 minutes.

Touch Down


Reached Penang airport around 8.00am. It was so early. I'm hungry. But, we planned to eat near Georgetown. So, we took a cab. It was a wrong decision to pick an old cab early in the morning. The taxi condition is quite bad and worse case is no air-cond. And another worst case, it took us 40 minutes to reach town ! My goodness, the taxi driver drove us using some jammed roads. I am also quite familiar with Penang road actually because I worked and drive be4 in Penang for 3-4 months. Why didn't he use simpler route. I think these old cabbies have to be change. Really paiseh! if a tourist from other countries use our taxi, bad bad impression. And a trip to Georgetown from airport cost us RM30.

He stopped us near Ferry Station and from there we walked to Lebuh Chulia. I came across the famous Beef noodle hawkers stall at Lebuh Chulia. However, my travel buddy don't eat beef, so we walked futher up to eat at an old shop. We ate wantan mee and it cost us only RM2.50 per plate.


Since, it was still early, we walked to some nearby Kongsi. Eventough, I stayed in Penang for few months be4, I rarely visiting these famous Kongsi. I planned to visit Penang most famous Khoo Kongsi. So, by looking at the map, we tried to find Khoo Kongsi.

After 2-3 other kongsi's we reached our target place - Khoo Kongsi
It is hidden and surrounded by old buildings. Hmmm..have to pay RM5 for entrance fee. According, to my Penang's friends, last time is free. Nowadays, nothing is free.

After, spending around 30 minutes at Khoo Kongsi, we came out and nearby Khoo Kongsi, we saw a old refurbished mosque. It makes me wondering on those days were people from different races living together in Georgetown; Malay, Chinese and Indian.

As we walked futher up, we saw the Kuan Yin Chinese Temple and we also passed through Indian Street. As the weather is getting hotter, we planned to look for cafe and have some cold drinks, however we ended up sitting inside Standard Chartered Bank for 20 minutes to enjoy the air-cond. Haha. Then, we had some ice-kacang and cold drinks before we walked towards ferry station. Yes, we are taking ferry to Butterworth. The ferry services is very famous among Penang people. It is 'gratis' for walking traveller.

The reason we went to Butterworth is because we already planned to take train to our next destination, Hua Hin Thailand.


Part 2 of my journey will talks about my journey from the train and to Hua Hin, a less known place among Malaysian compare to Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai and etc.

Girlfriend's Day

Today gf came from spore. For the next 4days will be gf's day. Will follow her for shopping spree around KL. Start from bangsar, one utama, curve, hartamas, sunway, bukit bintang. Hehe. My gf will become shopholic for 4 days. And luckily I have my ipod.hehe. Same time also can refresh my eye at malls.Hehe.

Another Weekend + Last Minutes booked cheap Air Asia Tickets ..Hooray....

It's Monday 2am morning, yeah. i know suppose to sleep by now. But I just want to write down what I 've done for this weekend.

As normal starts from Friday night, me and my colleagues had our badminton game at Bukit Kiara. I think I played better now since played every week. At least did less mistakes.

After games, another drinking session in some area in PJ. First, we went to After5, but seems no crowd there, so we moved to SCARLET at Cineleisure. The place also not crowded that night compare to Santuary. We had a bottle but is just a boring place for us. In the end, also drunk.
Then, after go back, I dropped by at 24hours massage place somewhere near PJ. Saw another friend of mine there as well..Hmmm..around 2++am. After massage, we had some great chat and leave at 4am.

Next Saturday, hmmm...of cause I slept like pig until 12pm. Then after surfing some internet and watch TV until evening. A colleague invited me to watch big match that night. MU vs Liverpool . Together with the rest of Liverpool fans at Hartamas. Great crowd, great night. Liverpool won 4-1. What a match! We celebrated like crazy. We sang 'You Will Never Walk Alone'. Happy. At last Liverpool beat MU at Old Trafford. Hope we can win the title this year.

Sunday, got invited by colleagues to go free trial of True Fitness at Jaya 33. Went there around noon and 7 of us there. Haha. 7 ppl comes for trial. Haha. The fitness consultant there also bit shocked because so many of us. For the 1st half hour, we had some talks and discussions with a lady fitness consultant. After that, she brought us around the center, which I think is very decent and quite a big fitness center. Everything under one roof. Fitness facilities, dancing classes, yoga, spa, sauna, steam bath, and even a swimming pool on top floor.

After that, we start our trial session, me and another few colleagues when to jogging. I ran for almost 3KM. Feels good. Burn toxic and fat. Then went up and did some cycling, push up, sit up, muscle builder, boxing, and etc. Wow! starting to tired. Since there is a free yoga class, we went to have a try. Is an intermediate level session. We are allowed to join. Without thinking much, I joined. But my nightmare starts here. Don't ever try this if you are not a normal yoga practiser. 1 hours session. We started with some breathing session. Then, here we comes, the instructor started to do some moves. Of coz we have to follow. We started to scratched here and there. Leg, head, hand scratch here and there. OMG, so difficult and tiring. So many styles and worst case isnon-stop. He never gives us time to stop a while for each exercise. 9,8,7....1. I can't remember how many styles I did for 30 minutes. I'm struggling and sometimes rolling like a giant turtle. But he keep saying 'Just try. No pain No gain'. WaT Lao!.....my longest 30mins. Some of my colleagues laugh throughout the session. Most of the moves we are struggling. We are really a begineer. But one of my colleagus practices yoga. She no problem in some difficult moves. After 30 mins the instructor allowed us to rest. At that point of time, I thinking of walkout. I can't continue..It is so tiring. Before even i decide to walk out. Here he comes again....
Scratch you leg.. OMG. another half hour...The next 30mins I am just struggling. My leg is shaking, my hand..all over..I am very tired. Lastly I managed to finished the 1 hour torture session. He off the light, and we rest for 10 minutes listening to a song. Almost fall asleep. Damn tired.

After such a tiring session we went out and start laughing on what happening just now. We think we are totally sucks. Then, we went for sauna and steam bath and shower before leaving. Before leave, we talk to the fitness consultant and gave some reference to her and she also tried to persuade us to join the member. All of us denied and we need to think futher. Haha. Excuses.
She handed us the trial pass for whole week which means we can come back for whole week.

After, we went dinner. We are so hungry. We went to Lala Chong. We ordered steamboat, lala, vege, and crab also. All of us like hungry ghost. Haha. I'am not sure the burned calories at fitness centre is more or less than the calories we add up during the dinner session. Haha.

After back home, I get some rest. Then I checked AirAsia website around 11.50pm. Previously I knew that AirAsia is running a cheap promotion for some local fares. Since I plan to go diving on July to Sipadan, I saw a cheap price RM80 for two ways to Tawau. Thats is so cheap. I didn't acknowledge the last date for the promotion. Suddenly I checked, OMG. the last date is March 15 that means ends by 12am. Without thinking much, and it is 11.58pm in my clock. I booked the Air Asia tickets. OMG is 12.04am, I still filling the personal particular and credit card info. Yes. managed to book it for RM80. How lucky! Then I checked back the price. It rised to RM238 two ways. Lucky. I saved RM158. Hehe........Blessed....

Drinking Night + Liverpool Night

Almost want to sleep already. Recap what I did for the past two days.

Tues 10/03/2009 - Start working as usual after long holidays.Damn lazy. Today is SAM last day. We went to Sunway Pyramid to have lunch. Incident happened. He left his parking tickets in the restaurant. Only found out when we almost got to car. Luckily found back. After work, went to meet my secondary high skool friends for some drinks. We went to a bar called 'After 5' near Damansara Perdana. We had some beer.Not a bad place overall. Lots of friendly bar girls around mostly speak Cantonese are willing to chit-chat around. Good place to hang around for some drinks after work. Suits the name itself.




Wednesday 10/03/2009
Is a lazy day to work after some late drinking session last night. Came back home as early as possible. Didn't really notice Liverpool Champion League match against Real Madrid last night. Saw the result through the TV news. Great! Big Win! 4-0. What a night and history. My favourite Gerrard (8) scored twice. Yes! Of coz I don't want to miss how those goals scored.

Weird Dream Again....

Everytime I have dream, I will feel like real....it's like really happen...
I'm using blog to keep track my dream pattern..haha.This morning.
I have another frightening dream. In the dream, I was back to my
previous house I stayed.I caught myself in my house backyard alone
and watching sky and stars. Night so peaceful....but suddenly I heard
a loud voice coming. OMG, is a plane crashed in front of my sight but
is around 500m away from me... BOOM!! Fire broke up.I felt so hot
with the heat..so hot.Then I woke up.Just realized that my room's air-cond
was off.auto off.no wonder so hot.another weird dream....wat lao!

Clubbing Days + Movie Days....

Yeah..is another clubbing Fri night....After badminton session, few of my colleagues including my boss....plan to have some drinks....eventough all of us are tired....after the badminton games..Initial plan, is Bar Celona at Sunway.......but we ended up in Coco Banana......there are few reasons for it...haha..only we knows.....

So, straight to the club......consider is Friday....the crowd is not as we expected....however we found a spot to drink.....'Absolute' this time....long time didnt drink it liao....since Pg time............

So, 4 us...finished up the bottle.......yes..drunk a bit.....started to talk nonsense......blablabla.............after finished in Coco, we head back to Bar Celona...we danced like nobody business....what a night.......considering we are still very young..hahahahaha.........finally, went for supper in one of the nearby mamak stall...and back home at 4am....

The next morning woke up at 12pm....and the next 2 days...I have watched 3 movies..since is holidays....relax...

1) Gattaca

A story about a man who pretends to be somebody in order to achive his ambition.....

The story develops quite slow....however....I able to finished it :P

Make me believe anything is possible.......if we try.....................

2) Lara Croft

I have watched be4....but since I planned to go to Cambodia in next 2 weeks....I think it's worth to watch again...maybe I can spot few movie locations at Angkor Wat.......Almost forgot entire storyline since the last time I watched it....But is quite enjoyable.....overall...Angelina really rocks....

3) 1408

First, taught is a terrifying horror movie, but end up in a roller-coster movie about a ghost writer who went to stay in room no 1408....and the story develops there.....but as I said is a roller-coster movie.....

Slow Day.....

Wow, today is very slow.......
user still bz....couldn't confirm the required requirement..make my day so slow....
Project is going live by now..hopefully everythg is okay....because everythg involve $$$.....

raining in the afternoon.....everyone eat in the canteen....

SAM plans to go Spore this coming weekend to buy his Hi Fi.. so, i plan to follow as well....of coz to visit my Dear....
I only aware Monday is public holiday...Yes!...another holiday....

yet is just another slow day ...~~~~

BZ day + Miss Miss U Day

Well, today recover bit...back to office. attended training..and submitted all my claims and leave application and couldn't runaway to meet 'J' in new wing.

Back to client office, worked lot..did mistake on my assumptions on the BW. Think too easy liao...but actually much complicated.....Learned from mistakes....
SAM saved the day....by working on the formula....credit for him
but all still depends on user tommorrow......................
worked until 9.00pm finding bugs on and interface prob...take long time ....but yet..now learn how to hack into SAP easily.....if given authorize to debug...simple as 1.2.3.....

Back home, hooked by the TV....is Jerry Maguire on TV2...i was like watching for the 3rd/4th time liao...however still loved it...watched till the end.......makes me miss my love one from far.....
wish i have a same happy ending like this movie.....haha...

When i was about to sleep, i called dear...she slept...

New Projects - Alstom

Yesterday, received email from my comp Resource Manager, informed that I will be involve in SAP new development in some modules at client site. They sell me out at last after 3 months. Time for more exploring and learning. My first real client is ALSTOM, a well-known company for power generation and rail transportation. A big international company, I guess. Hope will get more experience through this project. It's exicited getting some real task to do, but in another end worried about my capability. Worried involving very complex task given, Anyway just try my best. and im not alone too. Got some seniors came along........

It's Monday again....

Well, last week, thursday went to steamboat at a restaurant call 'YUEN' at Sunway.

Business Hour: Around 5.30pm to 11pm

It's just normal buffet steamboat, but quite a variety of food you can choose. The famous side-dishes is the honey BBQ chicken wing. Nice. Once it came out frm kitchen, people rushing to get it. Within a minutes all the BBQ chicken wing gone. But don't worry, u just need to wait again. The place was very crowded during dinner time, so better booked 1st before u go....




My weekend was free. my gf 'balik kampung' . So, it's like a short holiday for me..HEHE....
Didn't follow her back to hometown even tough she asked. Haha..Bad Bf...Not really like long travels. Few hours driving was tiring.

So, I just stay at home, watch TV. Afternoon went to some warehouse sale near PJ, located at ex-company location. Thought getting some cheap deal but not really. The items on sale was not cheap at all. Wasted my time, nia.......

Then, I went to service my car, my old Iswara 1.3 aeroback need to service again. Guess it in teribble condition. First, thought normal service, changing engine oil, oil filter, balancing, alignment. Later found problems with the tyre bearing and the brake pumps and the rad fan switch. And also the car light bulb also burned liao...So, need to service everything at one shot....
and all together cost me RM5++. % of salary gone.... Old car .....

Sunday, just relax at home... watch F1 .....Australia Grand Prix.....Great race.. Kimi ....wish u win in next race......Congrats Alonzo.......and also to our Malaysia Driver Alex Yoong ....finish 1st at A1 Grand Prix ar Shanghai...1st Asian on podium..you're the man.......

Wednesday - Nothing Special

Wake up this morning as usual. But today, n0 weird jam like yesterday....Its just a normal day....
really nothing speacial. have completed my third ABAP issues. 3 issues in 3 months... :<
Hope for better...but of coz I have to work harder to master ABAP...Its up to ourself...to accomplish something...If lazy, nothing can do more la.....Tommorow hope better day.
Yeah..tomolo steamboat again...this time ...hope is much better than last time....cheap and nice....

Weird Dream 2

My 2nd weird dream of the day was a simple weird dream. My brother house was under renovation. My bro has hired some Indonesian workers for the renovation. My bro ask me to look after these Indonesian because he need to go to work. As these Indonesian workers reach my bro house, i serve them with bread. Bread with white toothpaste with mint flavour. These Indonesian workers seems love it. They ask for more. Weird ..weird..weird izzit...

Weird Dream

i'm a person that always have weird dream. I have a weird dream lastnite. In the dream i was visiting China with my parents and gf. We went to lots of places and lastly we went to a newly open Aerospace Theme Park. As we reach there, we can see a big rocket shuttle. This rocket shuttle will fly up to space and we are able to experiencing zero-gravity. So, we went to try. We are lucky to be the first to try. Me and my gf get the last available slot in the shuttle. So, the shuttle fly up. We felt so much gravity and was flying in the shuttle. We felt very light in the shuttle. It was an amazing experience. After flying up to the sky, the shuttle landing back to the place to the place where it took off. Its was really really high tech stuff that i never saw be4.
After landing, we feel great. We went to see the second trip of the shuttle. I saw a lot of children queue up into the shuttle. It was weird. I can sense something wrong with the shuttle. Kindda of Final Destination movie stuff. But i m sure what is the feeling. Soon, after the shuttle took off...
it crash to the ground with a loud explosion. Everyone was screaming shocked disbelief. I saw parents shouting for their children. it was a very tense feeling all over the place.

So, all the people rush to the shuttle crashed area. Fire still burning. I saw some burned children with burning bones around.....It was awful...my god...really bad........

I was lucky escape frm dying. I was so lucky................
